About The Event

Through How to Stress, Better!, we’ll gain a better understanding of stress, both its intention and its impact on us, and that how we approach it reveals beliefs about our capacity for handling life’s demands.

We’ll build an awareness to how stress shows up in us physically, emotionally, and behaviorally but exploring the sensations in our bodies it evokes, the emotions that accompany, and specific behaviors we engage in in the presence of stress. We’ll gain an acceptance of stress’s intention of survival, and how we can challenge our perceived capacities and the character we choose reflect in showing up to it. And last, we’ll learn to take action with the energy and information stress provides to utilize stress instead of avoiding or ignoring stress.

Through How to Stress, Better!, we’ll explore the experience of stress in context of ourselves, capturing the realities of how we’re currently approaching (or avoiding) stress, and engage in conversation in how we can begin to show up with a focus on thriving, not just surviving.

When we gain this awareness, find acceptance, and take action with stress, we not only stress, better, we human, better.
